(SIRC) Recycling Group Processes 600,000 Tons in 2022.
The fully-owned Saudi Investment Company Recycling Group, known as (SIRC), has announced that it processed 600,000 tons of industrial waste in 2022. This was accomplished through its subsidiary, “REVIVA”, a global environmental management services company (formerly known as GEMS) specializing in integrated waste management solutions in the Kingdom. REVIVA provides industrial, technical, and logistical services, including the recycling of secondary products and transportation management.
Additionally, the SIRC Group stated that REVIVA successfully handled record quantities of industrial waste for the first time since its establishment.
(SIRC) has allocated a capital budget of 300 million riyals to implement projects aimed at incorporating modern processing technologies and expanding into new sites in different regions of the Kingdom. This investment aims to enhance the operational efficiency of industrial waste treatment processes and create direct and indirect job opportunities in various fields.
(SIRC) emphasized its commitment to its goals through a robust and clear strategy to develop the waste management sector in general, and industrial waste in particular. This will be achieved through collaboration with relevant ministries and the National Waste Management Center, with the aim of promoting the principles of circular economy and achieving the targets of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.
